When Pokémon Go hit the grid, the effects rippled across the land and had people searching far and wide.
At the time, partnering with Niantic (the games creator) cost $10M, so we struck gold by working with NYC-based Software Engineer, Nick Johnson, to help him pursue his dream to become the very first Pokémon Go Master.
We initially found Nick bragging on reddit, got in him at the start of his 15mins of fame, and the rest is history!
In just 8 days time, we sent Nick around the world (to Hong Kong, Paris, Sydney, and Tokyo) to catch his remaining Pokémon and achieve his dream. Nick did in fact become the very best, that no one ever was!
Nick did hundreds of interviews ( it was like he was The Beatles), causing significant reach on traditional and social channels.
